I'm working on a revised version of my previous entry: http://www.threadless.com/submission/36963/Hooray_for_Bollywood

To the left is a work in progress of the revision, there's still some ways to go, the most noticeable change right now is the title. (You can ignore the colors I have it in right now, that was just for ease of working with it.)

Anyway, I kind of suck at color choices and I need some help to find some really kick ass color palates. As you can see, two colors plus the shirt color.

Whether or not Threadless would ever print it (or even accept the resubmission) I would still like to get it right, so at least I can print it for me and some friends and feel good about the finished product.

Anway the short story: Anyone got color palate suggestions?

well.. I thihnk this is a great shirt. For color try some crazy mixed bright colors (very Indian). Like fuschia/sangria shirt, teal lettering and midnight blue image color.

Whats the text say? I try to avoid shirts iwth words I don't know the meaning of...

a cream color and a neon blue on a brown shirt would look really good. heres a sample of what the colors look like together on a shirt : http://interpunk.com/item.cfm?Item=12236&

a golden yellow, black and white would look good too.

chatreuse, ultramarine and black also look sweet together.

I usually look at other t-shirts or cd covers to find a color palate that works well together.

i like the design alot. i would def buy one.

The text is the title of the fictional Bollywood movie represented on the shirt: "The Bank Heist". I don't speak Hindi and I asked some people in translation forums for some help and this is what I got - I did double check the results myself with a Hindi dictionary to make sure people weren't messing with me.

i agree with evil that some saturated bright colors would work well especially considering the bollywood theme. i'm not sure how it'd look, but it sounds good in theory at least.

it's a great shirt design at any rate, so good luck with that.
