Anyone know if it is unlikely to be printed since a design that was submitted around the same time has been? I think I may feel the shoulder getting colder.

um, hard to say. Their timing has me really confused. I think it still has a chance. If they ultimately pass it over, I want you to get it printed locally and sell it over ebay or something, because there's a bunch of us who want it. But I still dont think it will come to that.

Well, guess I'll wait and see. Thanks for the support.

Here's what the mighty shimala says about it:

"Here's how we pick designs: We look at the top 300 designs every month and pick out 10-20 designs that we want to print based off of the designs score, comments, and the number of i'd buy it's. Ultimately the decision of which shirts get printed are left up to us. The scoring system helps give us a general idea of which designs our customers want."

So, yeah, 3.18 is a great score, but isn't going to sell a design on its own.

Yeah, point taken. From the comments it seems like there were quite a few people who said they'd buy it, but I guess that counts for nothing if the Threadless team don't want to print it.

i like to imagine they throw all the top designs in the ocean and print whichever the lobsters nibble first or something interesting like that. it'd be a shame if it all comes down to a human choice.

"The lobsters of choice" - delightful notion. (Just need to attach some bait to the next design then!)

Apparaently NGee sells it elsewhere (according to the sub) so no need to wait?
