It was unusual for a name to define someone as well as it defined her. No longer than a cuss and just as sharp to the senses. A flick of the tongue in the beginning, and a purr in the ending. Feline and dark and yet so very casual and mysterious. A suave and forbidden creature amongst the mundane and the norm. Desiree.



She almost skips in quick step as she makes her way to the ladies bathroom. Her caution mingling with the charade that her urgency is faithful to the eye. Pushing in on the door the need dwindles to nothing as soon as it closes at her back. Every bit of it shed like a skin. She cools down and becomes casual and lazy, as though suddenly bored with the setting of lemon scented tiles and cold porcelain. Her reflection grins smoothly back at her as she pulls a pipe from one pocket, and a lighter from the other side. Flame casts her white angelic face astray, repainting it red with rebellion and sin. It's a flash in time that lasts no more than a second before the angel magically reforms, and smothers the evil away.

The ghostly whisps and scent of smoke plume and grow, before casually dancing into nothing into the freshly cleaned air. Not a breath later there's a creak behind her, and she knows the door has found it's way open. Left unlocked. There's a pause in time, in her body, where her muscles briefly believe that not moving means being invisible. The mirrors have lost their confident woman, and turned her into a lamb.

Behind her lurks a shadow not unlike the stature of a beast. Light from outside finally kills it's downcast and brings to sight the predator. Rigid and defined, and yet so haunting and curios. Steel edged lips and a slivered curl of a smile hint a sweet death. He moves with a mixture of desire and danger. The stranger now more like a panther on the prowl rather than a man.

This instant breaks what courage remained in the woman now prey, and she flinches back. The lighter falls. Perhaps the only weapon to aid her as the hunger claims her in arms ink stained and steely. She cannot breathe, and her lungs are burning from smoldering ash pulled airborn not yet escaped. For the fire in her chest her mouth cracks and yet she prolongs the final heave. No chance to even scream, a gasp now painful is closed by anothers gone in. Without thinking she accepts this and exchanges the drag. Pleasure and relief tread a thin line of each other as the ache in her lungs starts to subside.

As he is a panther of claws and teeth, she is that panthers allure and beauty. They are one of a kind in a kiss. Pressing lips break and she shudders, but doesn't conflict with her confinement. His face is lost in closed eyes and when she tries to see him she is stopped by the rough, sandy nudge of his face. She can feel him heave a breath that mimics a dragons; both hot and tainted with smoke.

A tiled wall is cold behind her, and before her a wall of heat. Reason teases her senses, but emotion conquers all. She is half scared and half aroused. Neither of which can grow greater than the other. Everything she thought she had before is gone, and there is nothing but dominance and submission.
