How long does it usually take to get your design approved? I submitted mine like a week ago and it still says Pending Approval. Thanks

So I am tring to make my 1st design submission for Threadless. I got the design drawn and scanned and looks pretty good. I heard my colors needed to be on seperate layers when I submit it...but I have no idea how to do that. Pretty new to photoshop because I only really draw. Can anyone help so I can get this going??
