it seems that there's a good majority of threadless wanting hoodies to be printed and I think it'd be a great idea. however, rather than typical heavyweight hoodies, I think zip-ups are very appropriate for the summer on those breezy afternoons, cool nights, or rainy days!

I know that st. john's bay makes a really good zip-up hoodie (plus they're cheap, I got one for christmas) but I don't think they have an official site. you can see them in their shop on jcpenney's website though. the color selection and variety of styles and sizes are perfect. you guys should really take this into consideration!

ALSO, I think you might be interested in this. here is a cheaper yet equally appealing source for girly tees.

id like some too, but also id rather see a size for the hoodies other than the normal sizes. like "tight small" "tight medium". etc.

zip up or pull over it doesn't matter i think hoodies would be a great idea. even if they cost a little more i'd still buy em

I like pullover hoodies a lot more than zip ups, because I hate the way the kangaroo pouch looks on zip ups. It would be nice if threadless could sell both styles, though, because I think they would be really popular :o) I would definitely buy a pullover or three, especially if they came in girl sizes and weren't really expensive.

um...how do you print the picture over the zipper? i'm not to keen on forcing the design on to the back... maybe pull over hoodies?
jiggerlo
jiggerlo on Oct 09 '05 at 2:10pm
they'd prolly have rules about where exactly you can put the image if they did it as a design competition thingy. just like you can't put images too close to the seams on a tee

Most of the hoodies I have (not zip up) print on the slevees and just a bit lower than in line with the shoulders.

Personally I find it rare that a hoodie atcually looks good with a print on it, there far better embroidery.

However I do think Threadless should become more of a clothing company.

I love hoodies with sleeve prints!

The sleeve printing is a great idea. But I think zip ups look good with a design printed on the left or right side, but not in the center, obviously. I had one with a tall astronaut graphic on the left side and it looked really cool.

Yes, I agree. I have yet to find a decent zip up/regular hoodie, and I shall be in need of one soon. It would be a wonderful idea.

i'd be willing to pay that, only about £18-20
Pico
Pico on Oct 09 '05 at 6:07pm
I'd pay $30 for one, that's a reasonable price for a hoodie.

"i'd be willing to pay that, only about £18-20"

Around here thats how much a tee shirt costs and a hoodie costs £60. Prices are far to expensive and I live in the northwest.

sorry stubby but wheres 'around here'. The £ is worth far more than the $ is at the moment so how can a hoodie cost £60.

(Sorry i may mis-understood you)

ZIP-UP HOODIES ARE AN AMAZING IDEA. I would definetely buy them. I'm not big on sleeve designs though, but I am all for the left or right designs on the chest area.
