From good ol' Heritage 1981/Forever 21:

They also seem to steal stuff from urban outfitters but that's not as important or not important at all.

does anyone still have an image of the funk rip btw? i really guiltingly liked it, but no more than the original threadless print though! (which i own and love!!!) i'm just weak for astronauts and rainbows.

Read this article on Forever21 it explains alot about their company

“For me, this is not simply about copying,” said Anna Sui, one of more than 20 designers who have filed lawsuits against Forever 21, one of the country’s fastest-growing clothing chains, for selling what they claim are copies of their apparel. “The issue is also timing. These copies are hitting the market before the original versions do.”

i totally understand copying a dress style (which is usually remade into cheaper fabrics) which make it affordable for regular folks to buy, but copying tshirt graphics is way out of line. i'm being hypocritical aren't i, :( .

I agree with ginette and also feel like a bit of a hypocrite. I guess also what flames me about this particularly is that this isn't the case of some high end designer with a multi million dollar business and the audacity to charge $500 for a pair of jeans getting ripped off. It's one of you guys. And you guys ain't rich, usually.

Oh who cares, I don't see the relevance in people making it a point to remain loyal to one brand, or website. So what if you buy it off Forever 21, of Black Market in Toronto? Chances are, the people who see your shirt won't notice, or care.

I like Forever 21's version better.

reburkha-

threadless isn't so much a brand like forever 21, it is composed of individual designers competing to have their artwork recognized. the people who see your shirt will care if you make it a topic of discussion. whenever i wear a threadless shirt, i have someone ask me where i got it, and i am really happy to tell them about threadless before forever fucking 21.
