Has anyone here tried their luck at submitting slogans on OMGClothing.com?
If you have, I'd really like to know what the standard is for slogans being selected. Such as what percentage of "I'd Wear This" votes you need to have your slogan selected. Thanks.

Personally, I like colored shirts. Brown, light blue, turquoise, banana, gold, dark green, maroon, etc., but heather grey just looks so sharp. However, when I see a shirt on heather grey with a colorless design (Girls Should Have the Right to Vote, Thank You, We're Toast!) it does look bland. But shirts like You Sank My Battleship or Follow It have always appealed to me, especially because they go well with anything.
Has anyone else noticed that nearly half of all the 'IFC Loves Threadless" submissions are either plain black and white or a combination of red, black and white? I mean, I understand that these color schemes are intended to be reminiscent of pulp indies, but at the same time, I would never ever wear a plain black and white shirt, even with red. Except PERHAPS 'Like Father, Like Son'.

Just a personal opinion. EDIT: "Loathe" is probably too harsh of a term. I dislike this shirt , despite its creative placement, and- take note- it is a very WELL DRAWN illustration. To me, however, the concept just doesn't present itself as creative. I think it is a bland shirt, and there are plenty of fresh unprinted designs that could be printed for their first time, rather than reprint this shirt. Thanks to those people who undestand this is a matter of PERSONAL PREFERENCE and have refrained from making snide, childish remarks such as " Notice he's got no front teeth?".
OK Threadless...
Sadly, due to the recent 10-dollar-shirt sale extravaganza, all the good shirts have sold out, excepting a few. As I browse the remaining shirts, I am feeling less and less compelled to buy tees here. Please, as soon as the sale is over, print dozens upon dozens of new shirts for us to cherish. That, or reprint "Mmm... Oranges!" Thanks one billion.
