a lot of people scan analog art these days. threadless can print simulated full colour now. normally though i think most people scan line art and colour it in photoshop.

illustrator / photoshop / scanned drawings

yep me too ..draw/ink by hand , scan , colour in photoshop..sometimes tho I do some pencil crayon work too...

I draw on paper, scan into photoshop, clean it up in photoshop, and color in photoshop. I've heard some people take it into illustrator from photoshop though, and clean it up there. I'm not really sure how that works though. I know vector art has clean edges and all but if you've already scanned your image at a high resolution in photoshop why would you want to bring it into illustrator?

I intend on scanning in inked drawings and using photoshop for everything else. Until I get a tablet, drawing straight onto photoshop or using illustrator is out of the question.
