I don't know if many of you are Harry Potter fans, but there's a Harry Potter iPod. it's the same price as a regular 20 GB color iPod ($299), BUT I think you need to purchase the entire Harry Potter audiobook set in order to be able to get the iPod itself, which comes out to a grand total of $548.

.. and apparently there's an iPod nano too. it's teeny weeny and thin as a pencil.

You can't carry a cd player and a crapload of blank cds into the front pocket of your jeans. Cd players aren't as fun to use as a click wheel. Switching cds is less efficient than just choosing songs. Playlists and whatever and ever let you listen without pause. Ipods come with a calendar and notes (which I use very often for lyrics). Also with a clock, alarm, backlight, contacts, photos, games (though games is useless for me). Also a shuffle option along with backlight timers, audiobooks, eq, sound checks, contrast, clicker (which I love for some reason), different languages, as well as this cool interface.

I liked the clicker at first, but then it got slightly annoying.

I have a 3rd gen iPod, the one without the click wheel. it still works fine, but I reaaally like that Harry Potter iPod. :( there's no way in hell I'm spending $548 though.

1st generation iPod all the way, yo.

Mine's so old, it doesn't even have a touch wheel, the wheel actually spins.

Haha awesome, Phineas, do tell me.

I'll be getting my own iPod (yes yes I know I'm selling out shut up!) when the refund check for my student loan comes. BWAHAHAHA. Extra student loan money = iPod.

Yeah i want that harry potter crest on my iPod, but since i own the books i dont see a point in buying them in audio form, ill never use that. As you might see from my profile pic where im dressed as Dumbledore I kinda dig the books, wish i could put that crest on a nano with the student discount..... but alas there are more important things to spend money on, like textbooks and beer.

Print the crest on a sticker sheet and slap it onto your ipod or other music player. Simple and cheap - and no hard earned dollars go to Jobs and Rowling with dat.

I ordered a black nano today to replace my 3rd gen 20gig. It's still good but the battery's almost gone, it's covered in dents and I've somehow managed to get sand in the wheel and buttons.
