I bought this shirt in Red before i knew about Threadless
I know it was printed in Thailand, nd i have seen Permafrost Pollution on a blue T with a bigger print. Does anybody else know of a rip off from Threadless?

either the artist cut some secret internatinal deal, or most likely, someone just took the big sample pic, off the page and re vectored it into what is commonly known as a 'knock off'....and not surprisingly, in a place near or affected by the bird flu, sars, etc...hell those epidemics are the inspiration for outbreak girl anyway.

Also, Thailand is exempt from international copyright law (or some damn thing.)

My buddy went there and saw The Incredibles on a projection screen in a restaurant when it was still in theater over here.

the original outbreak girl was a knockoff, wasn't it? — a straight vector trace of a published photo

I'm hoping to sell my "Owl Poop" rip-off to Thailand. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v491/OneHotBiscuit/owl.gif

I figure that it will be a hard sell at first, but they say that the first million $ is always the hardest.

Indeed, i bought a copy of this t-shirt in Bangkok, at the Chatuchak Market, long before i'd heard of threadless!

At least now i'll be able to get a new one when the thai one wears out, as the mask is starting to get a bit worn after only a couple of washes (if it's reprinted, that is)
