Well i see bunch of slogans made every second on typetees! But many of them are just repeating, i mean somebody made good slogan and somebody else try to mimic slogan.

Also i run into sam realy perverted slogans like "Fricl, now that's what i call family love" ?????? OMG....OMG and maybe 100000 more OMG's.

MY SUGGESTION is to make only one slogan per day per person. That will make people start THINKING before they post slogans like :"I like this shirt", or " Dont touch me!" And more trash that can be seen on scoring table. This way a really good slogan can find his way to communities votes!

Now! I dont blog about this coz i think i have good slogans, but because I've seen some good slogans searching trough other ppl's accounts, blogs, homes whatever!

I see that only way to get vote is to be a member of some slogun-ninja community. I mean thats not bad but it just doesnt feel right.
Please tell me what you think? After all this is community :)

And in the end my regards to Bio bot 9000 or 12599 ??? great slogans m8!

Not English so excuse my English!

Best regards!

Some days I submit 20 some days I don't submit. The days with 20 usually only result in one good one. Limiting submissions would result in a great reduction in the overall amount of good slogans. Censorship is usually not the answer. However, having slogans drop if they are so low after so many votes is a good idea.

Yeah, if somebody has some great ideas and they don't stop by very often, that would put them at a disadvantage. I really just wish there was a way to report slogans if they're obvious rips of shirts from other sites, movie lines, or song lyrics. I've seen many reworked tshirthell slogans (usually with one offensive word made slightly less offensive), and a huge amount of other rip off shirts that have good scores.

You could always post a blog containing the slogan that has been stolen.

Not a bad idea. There's a lot of them, so I'll save that for slogans that manage huge favorable opinions.

Well, when you decide to submit it say think of most original and most incredible slogan, and of course it requires all of your brain power. To do such a thing it takes time to THINK so shooting 34 in a minute to punch just one good it's not the point. But Good thing would be if any slogan goes below certain percent (lets say 30%) it is deleted. And of course that would be after few days slogan is in scoring (here i agree with rosnat8 ).

But limiting number of slogans per day would make ppl think, which is required in instruction :)

I'd be happy with just the addition of comments attached to each slogan with maybe a flagging ability if it was a rip-off or patently offensive.

Limiting people to one slogan would change the game, definitely, but I like the free-for-all atmosphere and the instant feedback which can tell you people aren't getting the joke so edit and submit again.

I have seen some really cool photography projects where the photographers were limited to one exposure per day. It makes planning come to the fore.

Good discussion topic, Stevan (I'm assuming Vojnov is your last name).

I usually try to limit myself to 1 a day, just 'cause I'd post a TON and then hit a dry spell in my brain and have nothing for my 365! SUCKS!!! Now I just write 'em down when I think of 'em and that actually gives me time to mull over the wording...

Also mull is a good word it should be used more often. I'll let you mull over that for awhile.

Slogans are addictive, once you start spitting them out, you just can't stop. hehe.

@rossmat8 - I def agree with you Ross, censorship is def not the solution.

@Sparky the Wonderboy - This is probably the best solution as flagging would help the dedicated fish out the trashy slogans.

Would be really cool, as many of us think hard about our slogans and their presentation only to find a guy churning meaningless slogans with bad grammar and spelling.

My 2 cents.

Yes Sparky my last name is Vojnov but i write it first, that's the rule here :)

To rbthatches: yea i also write them down and let them sleep over before i decide to post them.

To aminozawa: Since English is not my native I'm in that group you mentioned :(

If you ever need help wording your slogans just let us know. We sloganeers would be proud to help! Although I don't agree with the 1 slogan a day thing, perhaps maybe a few slogans a day wouldn't be so bad or maybe flagging (which was brought up earlier) would be fine. I take my time to post slogans. I want to make sure they're good beforehand. I'd hate to post a slogan and see it do miserably just because I was being greedy and trying to make as many as fast as I can.

I'd like the slogans to be scored 1-5 honestly. Why are they relegated to hell yes, or god no? That's not how i feel about most of the slogans OR designs on this site. And i don't like limiting people to one slogan per day, or maybe you earn the right to submit more and more each day based on your lack of 0-10 percents, lol. That would weed out a great majority of bandwidth bullshitters who just want to see their name up on the screen. The main thing i want to see is STOP SHOWING THE PERCENTAGES TO EVERYONE EXCEPT THE SLOGANEER AND THREADLESS. I doubt we'd see so many monster scores and inflation and deflation of certain slogans would go down to a more respectable level again.

Also, I kinda miss the lil slogan circle all of ours used to appear in for voting purposes.

I dont like the idea of flagging slogans. This is sorta like a competition and you cant stop someone from just flagging your submission cause he/she doesnt like it. I like the scoring 1-5 ideas AND the hiding percentages ideas. Also, I really being able to add comments on a slogan. We want equality, don't we not?!?!

Hide percentage, although, you see winning slogans are not best rated! Also its the sam stuff with shirts that are printed :D
