Went gambling yesterday while donning Wanted. Wound up winning $930 on a $10 bill within five minutes. Uploading a pic to accompany this footnote. I'm lying in bed this morning, listening to the alarm buzz from across the room as my shoulders have yet to realize we've got to put a little upperbody strength into leaning forward to actually get the day rolling when I notice my cats staring each other down, as if about to tussle like drunks in a bar over a wager on a big game. The look in their body language stated it better than anything the English, or any other, language could provide: they were ready. Ready for combat. War. Judgment day. The end of the world. Ready for everything.

It hit me immediately: animals are excellent with directing a battle. Then my mind starting racing; animals at war, but what type? It was as clear as day: pigeons. War pigeons. Pigeons lined up on a power line, each pigeon dressed as a different warrior: a viking, ninja, samurai, camoflagued commando, buccaneer, cowboy, Indian, Ryu, Ken, Sub-Zero, Link, Captain America, Cloud Strife, Marcus Fenix, Batman, Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, and maybe, just maybe, a Canadian mountie. All of these brave warriors about to swoop down and take on the world... Ready for everything.

Problem being, I can't draw a stick figure without the twisted looking chap resembling an extra from Freaks. So this is an open invitation to take this idea and run with it, with you taking the majority of the moolah if it gets published as a shirt or print; I'll walk away with $500 and the gift certificate.
