Sony has said it be $600 for repairs for my laptop just to replace a heatsink:(

mm....how much does it cost to make the part... $3, how much does the guy get paid an hour to fix it.... $8, how long does it take to fix a heatsink.....10minutes.

Sony make stuff that is designed to break over a certain amount of time. Total fuckers, every pair of headphones I've had from them have broke after a couple of months and the first generation PS2's were ridiculously fragile. I got through two of them.

Thats what I thought too Tesko, they're pretty notorious for that after reading some stories on the net. Anyway yeah its a stupid amount of cash for a heatsink, but the technician was saying how the money was going towards not the part but the labor etc.

I guess Pound Crazy it is for Christmas presents. Whats more annoying is I had some wicked ideas for Threadless...
