where did the old one go? Was is replaced by pinterest?

This week I am choosing flowers, except I don't know the names of hardly any flowers, so I don't know what to look for/what I like.

My colours are like this:

but I don't think I really care for the flowers in those pictures.

THAT IS THE HARDEST DECISION IN THE WORLD, ALVIN.

We both had some songs in mind, but shaun and I do not really have the same musical tastes (almost at all) and so we don't really like each others' choices, haha.

Also, last summer we went to a wedding for his best friend (our best man) AND THEY FRICKEN DANCED TO MY NUMBER ONE TOP WEDDING SONG CHOICE SINCE I WAS 14. I actually cried I was so let down because now I can't use it.

So anyway, now we have a deal where we will each make a mixcd of 5 top wedding dance songs and give it to the other. Then we have to listen to those 10 songs for 2 weeks every time we drive anywhere, and then we decide.

I really like the Everlasting Light by The Black Keys, but it's a bit fast for a first dance song for 2 people who don't really know how to dance...

hahah, sometimes when we were in the kitchen we used to do this ridiculous dance that we always called our wedding dance that would go quite perfectly to this song... but it would be terribly ridiculous.

I love the earthy feel of that bouquet. Succulents also have gotten really popular in bouquets lately and I'm a big fan of that.

Billy buttons are adorable flowers, but if you want something similar that would go with your colors you could use globe thistles:

I like that, too, but i don't want to have a peacock theme, and then that thing would just kind of seem out of place. On that etsythere were lots of feather items that were not specifically peacock that I think I could use as accent pieces somehow.

I don't get how chicks stomach planning weddings let alone enjoy them. I love attending weddings but the idea of planning one is panic inducing. All I have so far is that my cake will be falafel with hummus frosting...and I only came up with that about 16 hours ago with my buddy when we were hungry.

But on your topic, I love hydrangeas.

I ain't gonna go all soapbox-y, but I get frustrated that the assumption is that the girl always changes her name. It's not that I have a problem with women taking their husbands' names, but that should be a decision they make, not, like, a default.

Now I'll shut up about it, and hopefully not taint the whole blog.
