Protect Me

Shaun's in Texas and I'm sleeping in this stupid house alone and suddenly I am afraid of the dark/noises. It's pathetic.

Also it's like 30 degrees here, and I'm sweating like a crazy person. (That's celcius, obv).

It has come to my attention that I am incapable of independent living.

six is gross. it was like 12 the other day, and that was cold enough. But I will happily bank that six for December when it's 40 below.

nothing stops, Nicky! We all go to work and school and the mall, we just wear a lot of clothes, and allow our cars to run for 20 minutes before we actually drive them.

Cars here have a block heater, which is basically a device to help keep the engine warm (I think) and there is a little cord that pokes out the front of the car that you plug into an extension cord and then plug the extension cord into an outlet on the outside of your house to power the block heater and keep the engine from freezing entirely when you're not driving. It's almost imperative to plug your car in when it gets that cold if you want it to start.
