you can sing it in French or English. At most sporting events (except maybe in Quebec, I'm not sure?) we sing it in English. But the school I teach at is dual track, so it's half french immersion, so we sing it in both.

off-topic: the best rendition of any national anthem was the irish fans belting out the french anthem at the world cup... even though they didn't know the words. youtube it.

He's an edmonton celebrity!
He has downs syndrome and works for the oilers. Wayne Gretzky used to date his sister wayy baclk when he played here and he brough joey in to be like.. the stickboy or something, and he's been there ever since. They have a tournament named after him and the Joey Moss cup and everything.

After the oilers lost game 7 of the stanley cup final in 2006, he was bawling. He's so passionate about the oilers.
