My neo-pop artworks are accessible in their reference to lovable cartoon characters, and known for their enormous vitality and their “Japanese-ness”. My style is somewhere between the superflat style of Takashi Murakami and the glossy kitchiness of Jeff Koons. I want to question the lines drawn between East and West, past and present, high art and popular culture.
