I had created an earlier thread to ask the exact same question:
I just got a package which took 5 weeks and 1 day. I decided to give it 1 more day after the 5 week max period to see if it would arrive before contacting Threadless - amazingly, it came on that day.
Has anyone heard from Threadless on whether they're going to be doing anything about the Mail Innovations debacle? What's the "innovation" anyway? Tying the package to a dolphin?
It's not spite, but that's my last order until I hear they've sorted it out. 7-8 days is the standard for International Airmail to NZ. Anything over 2 weeks is just too long to wait for me.
Re: Cap'n Jazz, if I had a covers band, I'd do a medley of Braid's Capricorn and Cap'n Jazz's Puddle Splashers tied together by the shared lyrics. I think Bob borrowed Tim's "You can't look at the sky without looking right through it" as a cute payback for Tim using Bob's "I'm dying to tell you I'm dying".
Re: Minus the Bear, amazing, but I'm still not sure if I'm really down with the new one. I always maintained that a record between Braid's Frame and Canvas and HM's Everynight Fire Works would be the ultimate (as both those albums are equally good in different ways). When I first discovered MTB I thought "WOW, their sound is exactly like that record would be" (apart from the electronic weirdness). I still think Braid/HM have that extra little bit of soul. I take it there's Mock Orange fans here too (I only love the new direction).
Bramish, a Sky Rocket is a type or firework where I'm from (so that also made for a HM reference without trying). I know that's not what it means in the song title, but I thought what the hell. Milwaukee Sky Rocket is one of my all-time favourite songs. I think Chris probably wrote the bulk of it as opposed to Bob though, it sounds just like Dance in France from the Firebird Band's Archives CD (I wish THAT song could've been recorded in Braid; it has a part where I expect Bob to come in, but alas, he doesn't).

Consumable. The yellow one. I have two blue backups for when it's not wearable anymore. So I have three copies of the one shirt. It's the greatest thing ever produced in the history of clothing.
