    Right now the blue is easier on the eyes, but I think creme, ultimately, is probably the better direction. Right now it's far too bright. Tone it down, and all the colors will work together a little better.

    That placement seems a little low. I might move it up about three inches and scale it down just a tad.

    But that's just me.

  • My advice.

    Draw in pen. It forces you to make decisions and think while you draw. You'll improve like crazy-- way faster than if you're practicing with pencil.

    Try new things.

    Don't be afraid to ask for help.

    And here's the kicker. I'll put it in bold so you don't miss it.

    FAIL

    Fail fast and fail often. If that voice in the back of your head DOESN'T say "This might not work," then you're not thinking big enough. Take risks.

    Failing is one of the best ways to start.

    Then once you've started, get awesome.
