Okay...I'm not gonna lie...I was super excited to hear about the new threadknits contest. That said, I was sad it didn't have a later deadline considering Christmas is just around the corner and many of us knitters knit gifts... :(

It would make life easier...i couldn't even figure out how to post a picture on the web through my phone and grab the info to post a blog on it...how dumb am I? I tried tiny pic but i guess things don't work like that through phones... sigh.

I may actually be on the verge of finishing knitting my first actual PAIR of mittens! Usually I finish a single mitten but never two. I'm feeling so accomplished. Fingers crossed that I actually finish ir...wish me luck

I think my A.D.D. is proven through all the various projects I start and never finish. I'm a girl of many talents and skills...a real jill of all trades...though I may not be the best at all of those things I'm glad I have some knowledge of a little bit of everything. The problem is that I am able to spend time on all of these things because I tend to get bored with things, so I have to find something else to fill my time and get back to the old project later.

Lately something I've been wanting to do is make mittens/hats for some people for christmas....but I'm afraid to start on the mittens because I know I'll end up with pairless mittens... (I already have like 4 or more from the past 2 years)

What are some things you start and never finish?

It makes me feel better to know others are slackers like me...
