i just came back from a weekend ski trip to Morzine in the french alps. It was colder than i've ever skied before - reaching -40 with the wind chill. amazing snow and clear blue skies. it looked damn pretty:

Although obviously I desperately want to get printed, I really enjoy the whole process. SO I couldn't help an initial feeling of disappointment when Apple finally announced that the new iPhone 5 was actually going to be an iPhone 4S. Really wanted a new design. But, actually, under the hood it's had a fairly impressive overhaul.
Anyway, it's much better than my old iPhone 3 with a cracked screen that I'd dropped down the toilet. ANYWAY, one cool new feature is Siri. You've all probably heard about it. What you might not have heard is that outside of the US it doesn't work properly yet because Apple haven't done a deal with Yell.com or whoever over here. Therefore when you ask Siri to find a taxi in Oxford Circus or whatever, it says, 'sorry i can only search for businesses in the US'. Anyone know if/when it'll be fixed? Thoughts on the 4S? |
