TODAY I LEARNED that the LEGO store in NYC sells the pseudo-Funkalicious shirt dude but I didn't want to wait in line because there were mad crowds up in there

When I was called for jury duty, I waited all day just to be interviewed, but thankfully they picked enough people before they got to the V's.

Thanks to Top Chef, I learned that the white stuff that comes out of salmon when you cook it at a high heat is called albumin.

Today I learned that scientists have found two Earth-sized planets orbiting a star outside the solar system, which excites them because it is an encouraging sign for prospects of finding life elsewhere.

Today I learnt that scientists believe those planets may only be Earth-sized because they were previously Jupiter-like gas giants that got swallowed up as their star expanded and died which burnt off any gas and liquid that may have been on the surface and caused their orbits to spiral inwards and this will happen to our sun in a few billion years too.

The real name for an egg plant is aubergine.

So suck it.

Also I was just reading the wikipedia article, its seeds (which are edible) contains nicotine.

"Aubergine is richer in nicotine than any other edible plant, with a concentration of 100 ng/g (or 0.01 mg/100g). However, the amount of Nicotine from aubergine or any other food is negligible compared to passive smoking. On average, 20 lbs (9 kg) of aubergine contains about the same amount of nicotine as a cigarette."

Tomatoes on the other hand, Botanically their classified as a fruit but under US law they are legally defined as a vegetable based on its use.

Nah that's a waste. I like to prime nail/screw heads before plastering just to prevent rust and help the plaster stick, but its not needed. If you want to be anal you can use an elastomeric indoor/outdoor type compound on them (screw heads) to prevent future nail pops...which btw that stuff is also great for stress cracks in walls. But yeah in general use an oil based primer, like kilz original, OVER sanded plaster. And use a mask and maybe fan so you don't die. :)

Today I learned that at least one bakery in the universe takes not one, but two days off per week. Either they're insanely good to afford it, or insanely bad to not care.

Tomorrow I'll learn if they're insanely good, or insanely bad.

I learned that if I go off the diet I have allotted for myself for more than 1 or 2 days, it completely effs up my system. I say diet in terms of what I eat every day, not diet as in Slimfast.

Also, if I do not exercise regularly, I tend to feel unmotivated and sluggish...but I already knew that about myself. It just goes with the diet thing.

I hope that makes sense. It was probably just a typo though by Rockstar.

Well, I don't know much about it as I'm a n00b, :)

No site up and running yet, but I did send them an e-mail and they sent me back an automated message with a link to get started. It's got themes and as far as I can see it's like a more advanced version of virb, only for free and with more themes.

You can also point the site to your own domain name (bought on go daddy or whatever) .

It seems like it's for photographers/artists and designers. Although, there might be other people on there. I've not checked it all out yet.

I hear Linkin Park spell their name stupid for much the same reason. Although their official website is still third on a google search for "lincoln park." They wanted to get their own .com domain and lincolnpark.com was taken.
