At first when I joined the threadless site, about a month ago , I thought it was simply just a place where artists submit their designs for the chance to win some cash. Now i realze that there is a whole community of cool ass people with different points of views on each piece whether it's submitted or in critique, with the aim of helping the designer improve their work. Now that I've gotten to see the scene in the blogs and comments on designs, I see that this is one huge family. My point is that I might as well say hi to you all.
i want to post photos in blogs w/ out a domain, or hosting or any of that, isn't there a way to post individual images in blogs through flickr?
your helo is most appreciated
I got a 3.03 on my tree shirt design!!! Thank you all for your votes, thank you so much. I can only pray now that they choose to print it, 3.03 is no guarantee, but I've still got my fingers crossed!! :D Thank you again *doing a little dance*
If you haven't had the chance to vote my sub, I would really appreciate your doing so. Be sure to leave a comment, it makes me feel all warm inside, and I'm freezing my nuts off over here so please hurry!!
My Threadless.com Submission
I have seen shirts get printed that got an avg score of about 2.9 with less than a thousand votes, while other kick-ass shirts that got like a 3.2 with over 1200 votes that don't, is there a secret panel of judges that makes the final decision or something? I guess I should first ask how long it usually takes for threadless to notify the public of whether or not they print the shirt. Anyone have any answers?
So, is it just me, or design themes seem to pop up in groups? I had seen a few shirts with a powerline theme about a week back all coming from different artists, and just recently I've been seeing a hamburger theme, as well as tomato confusion. Now I know that with thousands of artists submitting thousands of designs, there's bound to be several that are similar in theme, but do you think there's a possibility that there's something else going on here? Any thoughts?

That Weird Blue Thing
I'm wondering if anyone knows how UV inks respond to various colored tee's, such as olive or gold. Someone should make a giant chart with various tee colors and how inks respond to each color. That would be most excellent.
