I posted this slogan to type-tees...

"Andy Warhol just can"

... among with a few others...

"I actually enjoy talkin about the weather"

"I know. (But I'm not telling)"

...and sillingly on.

OMGNO'em or ID'WEARIT'em, I don't care
but I'd like to get some feedback! : )
Posted this slogan some days ago, something I had in mind since a long time actually.

Being an Andy Warhol fan and a CAN fan I came up with
"Andy warhol simply can"
that later turned into "Andy Warhol just can".

I figured out a simple san-serif font, very geometric and of course a parody of his famous Campbell's Soup just under it...

Then being the stupid newbie that I am I deleted from the contest...and I re-typed it adding a column to make it different.. ; )

Anyway: whaddayathink?

Give me some feedback..or just go and kick the slogan up ... or down! : )

PS
Check out the others too..
I actually put some thinking in some of them ; )

A) I joined Threadless one week ago or so and I'm still exploring the website and discovering design and designers...

B) I come from Italy and I daily check a blog called Inkiostro
and right today I stumbled in this post about retro-fake-book-covers (sort of)

The post is also about a young artist who reinterpreted some movie posters...
I cheked the guy's website only to find that he's (also) the author of this t-shirt (among others)!

I guess Olly Moss might be pretty well known and I'm the one who's late, still...

C) ...see title of the post. : )

By the way: his works is amazing!
As I don't know what to write in this first post (I'm a newbie here, sorry :) I'll just share a couple of Flickr contacts I have:

Mike Kline is a really nice guy from New mexico, he does many wonderful things in his life, I never met him, but we're sort of pals and have been collaborating for a while (he drew some graphics for my band*).
Check out his ball-point pen sketches!!!

DJ bass : I don't know him, but his pictures are simply amazing. Forgotten objects, marooned pieces of everyday life, all of them telling a story.

*No link by now, maybe one day...
Don't want to selfpromote right from the start! ; )
