Slogans are one of the truly fun parts of threadless, even though it lacks some functionality. One big baddy is the absence of a comment function but sloganeers have found ways around that by building up communities. If you love slogans and you have a feeling that your precious words are not really appreciated by the slobbering masses then hop on over to a brighter place: Official Slogan Club.

Of course word loving natures may also like numbers, so I have set up a simple Slogan Statistics page which can cough up a quick sum up of what the OSC member have up and running. Just hop on over:

Sometimes threadless shows wrong percentages... I noticed it a few times while looking at my profile. Usually the next time you reload, everything is fine again.
The same would happen on the stats page, too. Next time it loads it would just get the correct values again. But since you deleted the slogan, it doesn't get updated any more and my site remembers that wrong value it once got forever. Well, I guess I just have to teach my stats page to delete deleted slogans, too : )

That's something I don't understand, either... but I've seen this happen in my threadless profile, before... sometimes threadless just shows completely wrong values.

Hey colorfool, is the "printed tees" stat box that show on the statistics page updated? I seem to recall it being at 86 slogans for quite a while.
I suppose I could figure that out if I would count on the other hand.

If someone had two slogans:

Slogan A has 500 votes, 100% Love it.

Slogan B has 15 votes, 7% love it.

Would your average here be 53.5% ?

Thanks, I hope! It's been sitting at 48 votes for a while. I'm afraid to promote it because the percentage would probably go down. I'm just enjoying my Hall of Fame moment of glory while I can! hahha :)

Meanwhile, I just put up a totally goofy slogan and then went to the slogan stats page... and somehow it inserted the goofy slogan with the numbers of my highest rated slogan! An instant top 100! Of course, as I write this, it has zero votes, and yet there it is in the newest section and the top 100 and the top of my own little summary....

Weird.

I wonder if the slogan statistics page needs to be rebooted from the ground up. Or perhaps the top down. Left to right?

It still shows a joke slogan in place of my countdown slogan on the Top 100 page. At least for me it does... I've brought up my own stats, which as I understand it, is supposed to update my info in the stats.

Maybe it needs a reboot to catch up on things like recent prints, too....

MSQ = Mystical Sloganeering Quotient. Meaning: It's mystical, has something to do with slogans and totally involves fractions! The main ingredients are the average rating, average number of votes, and the number of slogans you got.
