Slogans are one of the truly fun parts of threadless, even though it lacks some functionality. One big baddy is the absence of a comment function but sloganeers have found ways around that by building up communities. If you love slogans and you have a feeling that your precious words are not really appreciated by the slobbering masses then hop on over to a brighter place: Official Slogan Club.

Of course word loving natures may also like numbers, so I have set up a simple Slogan Statistics page which can cough up a quick sum up of what the OSC member have up and running. Just hop on over:

Try not to stress the server too much, it is a cheap one. Comments are welcome.

Usually you should already be listed there, I guess you got overlooked by FA when updating the list because you didn't post your membership card in the OSC blog. Tiny little words are so easy to scroll past.

If you call up the Statistics Page now, you will find tabs at the top. This alone should be exciting enough. I will not tell you what they are there for.

Only one little hint:
Ever since juliejeremiah wished for a general OSC Top 50 I spent my time building a winner's podium. Lots of concrete code went into supporting our greatest slogans. After some time I got the hang of it and there now is enough space for the OSC Top 100! My name is not in there, yet, but I managed to hold myself back from extending the list any further.

colorfool: is there an easy way to let the user know how many they have in the top 5?

or perhaps one could be comparing their stats to other people and of the the stats is # of entries in the top 100?

@toopersent: "how many they have in the top 5?" Hehe, we both don't have to be concerned about that, yet... but your basic idea is good, the number of slogans in the top 100 should certainly become part of the stats! I'll do that in a future update!

I have 1 slogan in the top 100....already printed! Cracking that 70% has never come easy to me. My slogans are far too smart and no-nonsense for the average voter. I'm like the Ralph Nader of slogans. :P

@juliejeremiah: I am not sure if someone like Ralph would like my Statistics Page... it is not accessible for old web browsers. Not so democratic, come to think of it. And yeah, yours is printed... that must be great. I guess next I will teach my list to show the printed ones in a different color.

Man, Bio-Bot has just come in and taken a sledgehammer to the top 100 list!

I love this statistics page man, it keeps getting more in-depth and better and better! I always look here every couple of days to see what new feature you have managed to finagle into this wondrous program.
