Im so confused by everyones submissions, arnt they suppose to have new trends and such, to mee most of them just look like normal submissions that are trying for the better prize?

I have been a fan of threadless for a couple years now...and occasionally I do see the entirely unique designs that really make this site worth it. But I also recogize plenty of the same designs and patterns submitted. I think I have never seen anything like you meroctopus....or is that a merhexapus...I forget. Either way, its nice.
