I think I'm undergoing some kind of crisis here because I've been spending days upon days looking at and playing old games I've played before. I think one of the most disappointing things that I've ever experienced in my life is the huge decline of these adventure point and click games - I was devastated when Lucas Arts stopped making Monkey Island type games.
Anyone here who are fans of this genre? What games have you played and which are your faves? My list: Monkey Island Series Day of the Tentacle Maniac Mansion Discworld Sam and Max Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis Dig Full Throttle Willy Beamish Nancy Drew King's Quest The Bizarre Adventures of Woodruff and the Schnibble Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders Grim Fandango Runaway: A Road Adventure Ripley's Believe It or Not!: The Riddle of Master Lu Broken Sword Tell me your list :P
This is an old game I used to play (don't remember which console anymore), but anyway the game play is a lot like Streets of Rage / Bare Knuckles (side-scrolling beat 'em up type of games) BUT this game I'm thinking of is set in the olden Chinese times. You get to choose between a sword slinger, etc. And! It has this mini game where you have to eat the most number of pork buns.
I recall a new version showing up on PS2 but I'm not 100% sure. If anyone can help, I'll be very thankful! THANKS!
So, which design do you think deserves the bestee more? I've got it narrowed down to these 2: Autumn Chameleons and Meaning of Life.
The design work and style of Autumn Chameleons is just frikkin' beautiful and mind-blowing, but on the other hand, the simplicity of Meaning of Life and the fact that it can carry the humor/message so perfectly is also commendable. Thoughts? :) ![]() Okay, so my design/type skills aren't so good, I'm sure Threadless will do a much MUCH better job. Think it will be awesome if these got printed? Vote for them! If my Flux Capacitor was working, I wouldn't have gotten a ticket Come see our Band! We can almost play 8 songs in Expert Mode! *Note: I don't own the fonts I used, as well as the pictures, these are all for non-commercial purposes only. about Woolly Woolly
I WANT THIS SHIRT! It's so cute!!! And so frikkin' huggable!!!! Which can be a dangerous thing because I might just hug total strangers if they were wearing this shirt. hahaha.damn. I shouldn't have made a pact with my friend to denounce shopping for 3 whole months. :(
I am in dire need of new songs/bands to fill up my play list. I've been listening to the same old stuff for far too long. Any suggestions?
These are some of the artists/bands I love listening to: Athlete, Oren Lavie, Marjorie Fair, Our Lady Peace, Sick Puppies, Imogen Heap, Frou Frou, L'Arc en Ciel, Kings of Convenience, Bloc Party, Melee, Stone Temple Pilots, Calexico, Sondre Lerche, Filter, Dishwalla ~ Thanks in advance! :)
