hi guys..
i've started with this tee shirt thing a couple of years ago.. but been doing it on and off.. and never got the chance to get serious with it..
and now i feel is the time to focus on this.. cause i really do have passion for it! i've been working on tutorials n all, practicing like a maniac.. but i still feel my skills r still short of what i want to accomplish..! and not sure how to fix that..
am considering studying it as a degree if there's such a thing..dunno graphic design? illustration??(threadless should start a design school)
is that a good idea..? if so can anyone recommend a school for me?
i can babble on n on.. but basically am seeking guidance!
umm.. it's been a while since i last subbed a design.. so the rules of common courtesy might have changed..
but is it considered rude to leave a comment to your design..??
am not talking about simply leaving a link there..now that's def. rude!
i mean: 1-commenting ,2-scoring other people's designs..then leaving a link to your own..

am asking after being called rude for doing just that!

i stand corrected but is it really rude?
a little over a year ago.. i started this design..as a critique and kind of forgot about it..
i finally had the time to finish it..

please score and let me know what ya think :)

umm.. so i subbed my 1st design for the 'green competition".. and i got 2.02
by threadless standards is that's good or bad??..

cause something tells me it's isn't great!

am just wondering ..what is the score that could be condsidered good here?
i can't believe my design is accepted and up for scoring!!
Yaaaaaaaay!
am so thrilled about this!!

am really excited about my idea.. no trees ..no green color.. no pic of the globe no nothing.. just ma doodling..lool

yea.. yeah.. shamelessly promoting my design!

vote for me!!

NO LIP SERVICE
ok.. so i have this design with the regular 640 X 800 pixels size.. and am trying to fit it into a tee...(it should be all over the tee) but i don't seem to be able to do that... without stretching n distorting the image..

what t do?
okies.. i've been trying to start my own business in graphic design for a while now.. but of course got overwhemled by the technical and managerial issues.. since i don't seem to have the business mind for the job.. nor the offical training, i thought of letting go of the idea.
So about a week ago, i discovered threadless!!
and of course the chance to just focus my efforts on the design itself rather than running around trying to convience a couple of suits to help me run a business, was thrilling for me! (let a lone the chance that u might actually get paid!)
plus, the opportunity to compete with designers who seem to know what they're doing.. is a point i appreciate.. since where i've come from.. people haven't heard of graphic design, so there isn't really a way to know how good or how bad u are.
so i learnt about the "love for text" competition 3 days ago.. but since i like text, i couldn't pass on it..!
actually the idea is pretty simple.. maybe too simple.. i've had it on my mind for a while now, and just got the chance to work on it.
and since the search for the right words to express myself seem to take too much of my time, i thought of making the design about it.
and i've just submitted my design.. n the hopes of it being accepted and maybe win a decent score..
