hi guys..
i've started with this tee shirt thing a couple of years ago.. but been doing it on and off.. and never got the chance to get serious with it..
and now i feel is the time to focus on this.. cause i really do have passion for it! i've been working on tutorials n all, practicing like a maniac.. but i still feel my skills r still short of what i want to accomplish..! and not sure how to fix that..
am considering studying it as a degree if there's such a thing..dunno graphic design? illustration??(threadless should start a design school)
is that a good idea..? if so can anyone recommend a school for me?
i can babble on n on.. but basically am seeking guidance!

Studying design or illustration can be helpful for some, but it's entirely possible to teach yourself... the most important thing is to keep practicing. Not even the most amazing artists will get their design printed every time... it takes a while to work out what scores well and works on a shirt.

Keep practicing. That's the main thing.
Also, study how other people illustrate. What makes their stuff better then yours? How do they draw their lines, how do they use colorcombinations?
It's hard to be really critical of your own work, but it really helps you a lot. Look for points of improvement.
But don't outright copy peoples style or methods. Learn from em.

Threadless is a great place to improve your technique and ideas. All it takes is application, desire - which you clearly have - and time.
