I have always made it a point to try new cuisines and foods and have come across some pretty strange menu items. What is the weirdest food that you have actually tried?

hmm...gravel. my sister and i used to hang out with the older neighbor kids, and they convinced us that all the cool kids ate gravel, so my sister and i ate some.

Lamb brains. Pig ears. Sheep testicles.

I think those are tied. I've also had heart and various other organs... um.... chicken feet... guinea pig (they're roasted whole)... raw shellfish...

I've totally eaten packing peanuts. (Full disclosure: I had the kind made out of rice or whatever those are.)

cow stomach soup in Burkina faso. It looked unidentifiable, could have been octopus of an obscure mushroom by the looks of it.

Alligator, and escargot (snails). i think that's the oddest. and it's not even that odd, just not common in my culture.

Probably Moths or witchiti grubs.

I've eaten kangaroo, emu, camel, snake, frogs and so on but none of them I super weird.

There are these big grubs you can get in FNQ that taste like peanut butter when they're cooked - those are pretty ace.
