Dog vs. Cat

I adore dogs but I'm more of a cat person, actually I'm that crazy cat person I admit!

But you have to love them and this is why!:)

My family had a cat that always sent every dog she got in a fight with running for the hills. She was extremely mean to dogs and she always won within 5 seconds.

No way. Cats are for lazy people. I want that tail wagging, tongue slobbering, tackle-me-as-soon-as-I-get-home affection that only my dog can give. I've been trying to train my wife to do that same thing, but she is more like a cat.

it's pretty great to have both, imo. our poor cattle dog is outnumbered 4 to 1 though. he hangs.

I actually grew up with both cats and dogs. Don't get me wrong, I like cats, but my affinity for dogs is much greater.

I used to hate cats, but now I'm pretty indifferent. I can see how they can be pleasant, but I can see how they can just be annoying as well.

I love dogs though. And I personally think shows with dogs are more interesting than shows about cats.

I seem to like cat and kitten shirts more than dog or puppy ones.

But In Real Life I'm a dog person.

Plus I'm pretty allergic to cats. I had this guy over and after makin out a bit, my face got scratchy, and I'd found out not long before that he has a cat. I asked, "um, did you kiss and cuddle your cat?" And he said yes, and I explained that my skin seemed to be reacting and I had him wash his face and goatee. I wish he'd text me back but anyway.

I'm actually also slightly allergic to my family's dog, but only if it's been a while between visits. In the very beginning I developed a resistance to the little guy but since I moved out, it depends on bow often I see him.

I've never had a dog, so while I think they're sweet and lovable, it seems like they'd be too high maintenance, which is why I prefer cats.
