I've ordered from Threadless a total of 5 times, the biggest order did not arrive (delivered to South Africa), and was considered lost and we were refunded. An order I made to a friend in America was successful. The third order I made for a friend in Taiwan was unsuccessful, and I tried to contact them and they have yet to reply (order happened 4 months ago), so I am trying to contact them again.

Now because I just couldn't resist it, I put in two more orders, hoping against the numbers of my own experience that it'll arrive. Still waiting.

Why is it that overseas orders have no tracking on them at all??

also... I'd love to hear from other non-US threadless-ers about their experience with ordering from them, did you get your stuff? How long did it take? Where do you live?

I live in Brazil and once I had some problems. I ordered 1 special order tee - video games ruined my life - and the shirt get lost. I contact Threadless and they refund me. So, I order another - different - one and get lost too! So I ordered another one and changed the shipment address and finally arrived. It tooks 4 or 5 months to get my tee and I don't know what happened. But I'm wearing the tee right now and I'm very happy :)

I pay for the UPS saver, def worth the price. Quick, and saves me the worries of non-receipt. And it's fun checking the tracking site.

I had an instance of lost shirts through postal priority when I had them sent to a residential address last holiday season. Happily refunded, though one replacement order won't probably be arriving :(

I figure it's local post office issues, I still have a few items that were sent through economy that's probably won't reach me (mostly shirts). Makes me kinda sad since they are gift prizes :(

I'm from southeast asia philippines. I try to limit my order to nine shirts since one time i order 14 at once, the customs charged me real bad. Which means 30ish dollars per batch of shirts

/end long post

Internqational orders can have tracking, can't they? You just need to pay more for one of the more expensive options.

My friends recently put in a large order to Malaysia, and it went missing. Luckily Threadless has given them a refund, which is jolly decent of them, considering any loss in transit is (obviously) not their fault.

I live in the UK, and have received every single one of my parcels (and believe me, there have been a lot of them!). One shirt which I thought was lost actually showed up like 3-4 months later, so yeah, my record so far is pretty awesome (touch wood).

In most instances I would blame the local postal services.

oh i had my orders sent via postal priority... I didn't see any options that was more expensive than that. So... What is this UPS tracker... Is it an US-only option?

Well even if it IS the local postal service, surely that warrants an option to put tracking on international orders?? Everytime my tees don't arrive (gifting or personal), it's hugely painful for the ol' heart, not for the money, but just cos... Well, I have taken the time and effort to pick the cool shirt, and then a couple months down it'll probably be out of stock in your size, etc.

I see, I guess not all international shipments have the UPS Saver option as of yet

I'm in New Zealand, and I've had no problems at all. Even the postage times were reasonable, considering it's an island in the middle of nowhere. Priority shipping does make it run a lot faster, though.

With the cheap shipping is kinda like flipping a coin to see if your order will arrive, with the pricier one (just 2 options here) there's still a slight chance the package won't arrive. Neither can be tracked.

I live in Mexico.

Well kudos to threadless again, they came back to me about that 2nd order that never arrived... Turns out I had missed ".com" when I entered my email.... how totally TOTALLY embarassing @_@

So they're going to refund me... But I do wish there's tracking for overseas orders! That makes two lost orders :(

Hi there, same thing happening to me. In fact, I just sent sent out an email for my recent order, which has been around 2 weeks delayed.

I live in Malaysia, the only Shipping option we get here is either "Postal Priority" or "Postal Economy".

This is the 2nd time I have suffer the "long-anticipation-but-nothing-happen" experience. The first one was via "Postal Economy", and this time is was "Postal Priority".

I have made about 4 orders since I got to know threadless.com, only 2 made it to me so far :(

Hey All! Sorry to hear about some of the shipping problems you guys have had. Unfortunately some areas have postal services that are less...shall we say..."cooperative" than others? Unfortunately there is nothing we can do in those circumstances to make the postal service more reliable, but we will certainly work with you in instances that your order has not shown up. If you send an email and we don't respond after a week, email us again or try contacting us with another email address. It's likely we did respond (most times in less than 24 hours) and it just went to your spam or was blocked by your email provider.

We've looked into offering UPS for all countries- as we currently offer it for some. Unfortunately the shipping costs are very high and on top of that, UPS also charges a brokerage fee, making it an very expensive service. This has been consistent with all international shipping services we've checked out that offer tracking. The countries we do offer UPS to, UPS does not charge a brokerage fee.

This doesn't mean that we've given up though. We are constantly looking for international shipping options that are affordable and will provide you with traceability. As soon as we find the 'Holy Grail of International Shipping' that has everything for our customers, we will be scrambling to make it available to everyone.

If anyone wants to discuss this more in detail or has a problem with their order, feel free to email us at any time: service@threadless.com.

beanie: If you can find a way of shipping to the UK that won't incur the horrendous customs duty, I would be eternally grateful. Right now we can't buy more than ONE full-priced shirt per order without risking a big ol' fine.

That would be pretty amazing, wouldn't it? Unfortunately customs fees are not something we or a shipping service have control over. All of those fees come from your country. As long as you are in the UK, customs fees will be a part of international shipping. BUT, there is some talk about raising the threshold for items brought into the UK so hopefully that will provide some reprieve.

I order quite a lot and all my shirts arrive well within 10 days on priority mail. All that is except my current order which is now underway for 3 weeks via postal priority which should take 10 days.
It sucks as the kids want their shirts (I have one sad 5 year old) and I can't trace the shirts at all, no shipping ID, no way to track it and Dutch customs were no help at all.

One of the shirts is now out of print, so even if I get a refund or have my CC company make a chargeback I've lost that shirt for good unless they reprint.

Usually though Threadless are excellent and the service is great, and whilst I understand the constraints of modern business and international shipping sadly, my kids don't..

Ah well.
