aw man all my mouth/eye pictures are pulled.
bummer.

yeah it's weird to see something without a head act seemingly intelligently, yet so precise.

i can see 100 ft tall armies of these things walking over a city...

talking dogs are getting more and more common- a sign of evolution?
dogs taking over scares me a bit, but at least we'll be fed and be given a little shack in the backyard when they overthrow us.

i don't think there is anyone that isn't afraid of spiders- to some degree.

i tend to worry that every spider in my house is a brown recluse.
their bites rot your freaking flesh off.

I wont bother posting a picture because they look exactly like real babies... you can even get some that 'breath'... I'm talking about the tragically sad fake babies that some (mentally ill) women spend thousands of pounds on... I saw a documentary on it recently, fucking bizarre
travis76
   travis76 on Mar 21 '08 at 1:11pm
eww, tesco, like real(sex)dolls, but babies for women?
NEVER heard of it.

Alot of people are creeped out by Ron mueck's work. I loved seeing it in person.

travis76
   travis76 on Mar 21 '08 at 1:15pm
let's see if this one sticks. if so, sorry that it's a repost. if not, sorry it's another red X.

so- so far most of us are creeped out by robots and children and puppets or otherwise things looking or acting alive that shouldn't.
tesco
   tesco on Mar 21 '08 at 1:17pm
neither had I... one lady spent literally thousands on clothes for her 'baby', pushes it around in public like nothing is weird... when asked why she didnt have a real baby she said it was because real babies are messy and would ruin the clothes and toys she bought for it... she even had a routine for how to clean her (very expensive) pram, had separate wheels for inside and outside... she was basically nuts

there is this certain turtle or frog thing..that carries its babies around in these holes in its back and it creeps me out to no end but i dont know the name of it so i cant post a picture i just remember seeing it on the discovery channel and then having nightmares about it
travis76
   travis76 on Mar 21 '08 at 3:08pm
yeah! it's a frog- i didn't see it on tv but in a nature book as a kid- very creepy.

it's like it has big zit craters in it's back that they hide in, and when they come out, the frog looks almost like a honeycomb...
travis76

You probably couldn't get a more directly opposed upbringing to the one I had, which involved going to football matches, picking fights with boys, and wearing dungarees, a lot.

I think there will be a few different subs in the top 20 once all the loves threadless have finsihed scoring. Travis has to be up there somewhere, his last few subs have lifted the bar on here--------

I don't know if anyone else who's been hanging around threadless for far too long (like myself) gets really excited when under-printed designers put out a sure thing - but I know I do. I feel the same way about this as when I first saw "No Peeking" by Jublin. That "THIS is a print and it couldn't happen to a better person."
Enjoy your...uh...12 pack of Red Bull.
