...or will they choose several? And say, a design doesn't win the contest per se, would it still have the chance of getting printed?

There are many prints that usually come out of a contest here, but unless specified, only one grand prize winner. My recent collab printing with Brett Weber "Impossible City" was subbed under the Loves Drawing comp.
