You may recall a certain buzz-worthy blog by kickass Threadless designer Mark R. Skipper (Mark722) from late April detailing a special offer of free tattoos for a select few Threadless employees and users during his Chicago visit for the Body Art Expo. As 0ne of the few selected to receive the above menti0ned free tattooage, I felt compelled to show a few pics of the amazing experience.

So the tattoo idea that I suggested that Mark agreed to was a portrait of my goblin cat, Ambrosia.

After much deliberating about where I could commit this precious beast's face to my own body, I decided to put it right above my left elbow, just beneath another tattoo on my upper left arm. Here I am, and here is Mark, drilling away at my frail lil' arm:

As time passed, the hideous monster that I so love started to come alive on my arm:

(This is actually my favorite angle of the tattoo, as it best represents her tendency to hide in weird places and occasionally peak out as if startled by the adorable snot-sucking sounds that come out of her own blessed face)

And finally, some close up shots of the finished product:

Superthx to Mark for the startlingly accurate portrait. Now I don't have to pull a crumpled picture of Ambrosia out of my wallet to prove what I'm talking about. Now when I get lonely, I can rest my head on my shoulder, and nuzzle with my mangled lil' abomination, dearest Brosie.

Here are links to the other awesome tattoos from the blog that Mark did this weekend, one for my fellow coworker Lance and another for Threadless user Midi-Chlorinated.
