Its like almost 9 minutes, but I promise you it is totally worth it. If you are impatient, skip the first few minutes.

SUCKERS!

Naw, just kidding.

Excessive Violins - Threadless T-shirts, Nude No More

Guess the score, win $25 GC if it prints. You must comment on the design page to win. Good luck!

Also, one random commenter on the submission page will win a gift basket of random shit, regardless of if it prints or not! Some drawings, perhaps a sketchbook, and some candy of course. I'll even let the winner choose the type of candy because I'm so nice.

AGAIN YOU MUST COMMENT TO WIN!

Hey guys/gals. I noticed some people have ambigrams of their usernames and whatnot. I've recently mastered the art of symmetrical ambigrams and I'm pretty sure I can do almost anything and make it look decent.

revolution

Just a sample...its my "revolution" ambigram.

Yeah, I was on a good roll but I'm too busy to keep up. Sorry OSCers and 365ers, I fail.

But I do have some new ones up there currently!

per usual, comment here and I'll vote on your slogans.

First, I'd like to thank everyone for their enthusiasm and help with ideas for the project.

The original blog (phase 1) can be found HERE

Basically, I want to publish a book of art consisting only of threadless artists and give all the proceeds to the Chicago Childrens Museum. This means that I need your help!

Im aiming at producing a 40 page book, meaning I will need at least 75 original pieces of art. I want a bunch of different styles; painting, illustration, mixed media. YOU WILL NOT HAVE TO GIVE ME THE ORIGINAL, but it must be able to be scanned and submitted digitally. Someone actually had the idea of auctioning off all the originals to raise even more money.

The THEME will be "Aspirations." We chose this because it is kid friendly, has a good message, is open to interpretation, and gives artists a wide variety of possibilities.

So I need people to help. Sign up here if you want to donate a piece, or if you can help with the production. Also, WE NEED SPONSORSHIP, so if you know anybody willing to donate money for production that would be great. As of now, I'm putting my own money up for this (and I'm not loaded by any means). I'm hoping that if enough interest is shown, threadless would be willing to donate as well.

SO SIGN UP by posting in the blog...

Also: email me at ThreadlessArtForKids [AT] Gmail *dot* COM so I can have your contact information and send you updates!

Again, thanks so much!

So I got my monthly commission check and it was pretty good. I was going to buy some shirts, but I really cant decide what to buy.

Then I thought, well, I have shirts (I mean we can all use more cool shirts) but maybe some of you people need shirts more than I do.

So, here is the contest:

Since I cant decide which shirt to buy, I want you to do it for me. Pick a shirt and tell me why I should buy YOU a shirt and why I should pick that particular design. Be creative, write a poem, whatever.

I'll choose a winner (or maybe even two!) on Sunday at some point and the winner(s?) will get the shirt!

All that I ask in return is that you help me out with THIS PROJECT

Okay, so this is my idea. I've been part of the community for only a short while, but I spend a lot of waking hours here and I want to do something that can involve anybody who wants to partake.

Anyway, I want to do a collection of original art pieces submitted by ONLY threadless people. Sketches, paintings, watercolors, photography, we can have it all. There is an amazing collection of talented people here and showcasing everyone's talents in one book would be awesome. I think this much we can all agree on.

Because I will be funding everything, I cannot afford to pay anybody for work. I'm not doing this for profit anyway because all the proceeds I would like to donate to a charity. However, should this project actually happen, everyone that participates would get a free copy of course.

So, I'm leaving it up to you awesome people. Phase 1: choosing a charity. I've never really donated anything except clothes to salvation army. I'm actually pretty ignorant when it comes to these things. So please help! Is there a charity that you know of that deserves some money? I realize this wont make much money, so I think smaller charities would benefit greatly from this. I think leaving out the mainstream charities would be a good idea. But maybe you could convince me otherwise.

Okay, GO!

So mommadukes was telling me that scientists have proved that it is possible for the same exact electron can exist in two places at one, thus proving its possible to have parallel universes.

Granted, I could have totally misunderstood what she was saying....

Just graduated from VCU (Virginia Commonwealth University) with a double major in IT and Accounting. Surprisingly enough, I enjoy art (in many forms) more than either of these (except money). I'm engaged to a beautiful Colombian princess, we are getting married June 27th in Cancun.

I love reading and writing sci-fi, snowboarding, camping, and movies. Pretty generic stuff.
