I watched them. Madonna's speech was pretty insufferable but I still can't hate on her. It's pretty funny that Elton John said she didn't have a "fucking chance" of winning right before the show.

Woody Allen never shows up... well, he did show up at the Oscars once, after 9/11.

I was really happy about the wins for Homeland, The Artist, and Game of Thrones (or more specifically, Peter Dinklage).

This blog is a farce, as I did watch the Golden Globes up until Matt Leblanc won. I subsequently pushed my TV off the 2nd story balcony into oncoming traffic and proceeded to strip naked and run off crazily into the night while screaming something about how Madonna's cleavage looked to be in a hostage situation and that it is a shame that the Hollywood Foreign Press doesn't negotiate with terrorists.

Tina Fey was hilarious last night, per usual. I must also say that Meryl Streep is the best actress ever. I totally believed that she really cared about winning such a meaningless award.
