Hey guys, been away from threadless for a while, but I thought I'd share a project I was working on to keep my creative juices a-flowing.

I was doodling one day and came up with something that looked like the letter A. I decided, somewhat randomly, to do 26 letters in 26 days and give my self 26 minutes to do each letter. I find that limiting the time and giving myself a deadline has really helped me get out my creative funk.

Anyway, thought I'd share. Click here for the flick set.

Day 1:

A is for Amendment, specifically the first amendment, since A is the first letter!

Day 2:

B is for Beastie Boys, in honor the Beastie Boy's induction into the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame. Kick it!

Day 3:

C was made as a request for my friend Chris, who is a Cop.

Day 4:

D is for the Dark Knight. What is a superhero without his super villain. RIP Jerry Robinson.

Day 5:

E is for Ewoks. Who doesn't love Ewoks?

Day 6:

F is for Fraggles! Dance your cares away, Worry's for another day. Let the music play, Down at Fraggle Rock!

Day 7:

G is for the Grinch. The GingGrinch.

Day 8:

H is for Heathcliff. Terrifying neighborhoods and playing pranks on everyone.

Day 9:

I is for Inspector Gadget. I'll get you next time Gadget! NEEEXT TIIIIIIIME!

Day 10:

J is for the Jetsons. RYE RORGE!

Day 11:

K is for Kermit! It isn't easy being green!

Day 12:

L is for Linus and his blue blankey.

Day 13:

M is for Megatron. The old school one, not the Michael Bay one.

Cool idea. I thought maybe 26 meant every two weeks in a year long project, which couls be cool for somethign too.

Yeah, that would be neat, though for this project I wanted something I could do everyday to pull me out of this slump I've been in. I'm already feeling more creative and it's only day 6!

Speaking of, Day 6 is F, for Fraggles!

Cool concept to take on. Like what you've got so far. I'd totally blow that 26 min deadline. I could definitely use to come up with something like this in order to push me to do something.

yeah, the 26 minutes is tough, but I hold myself to it. It helps having an Intuos 4 and a fast computer. Also, knowing photoshop keyboard commands is a must.

I've clearly taken this this a "cartoons I used to watch growing up" theme. I'm contemplating making a book of some sorts, kind of like a kids book for adults who grew up in the late 70's to mid 80's.

This is continuing to shape up nicely. Coming up with some great characters for each letter.

For a second I thought that arm cannon was an enormous cod-piece and I was like oh snap, Megatron.

This is such a neat warm-up project! I started on something similar with animals doing things; argyle aardvarks attempting arson, blue beavers breaking bones, fushia ferrets "fixing" felons... but then I lost interest. I wonder if a time related goal would help. Neato stuff, yo.
