I've the idea of posting this while writing my lazyness on my lazy blog entry LAZY.

It'll be be 50 pages (28 so far), it's a free adaptation of the novel "cinema rose" by Graham Greene.
There's no text yet, in fact i don't know if there will be, i'd love to but i don't know how not to sound dull, the place, the typo, hand or numeric etc

i'd love to publish this on a BIG format like a3 (42*29,7cm don't know how to translate), in fact the original format.
technique is calk on paper, drawing on both to have this fog effect, with pen and charcoal.

here they are;

thanks for viewing,

Bises, Mr.Pimpant

PS; btw i really don't know how works american publishing, someone to clarify a little? polynothing maybe?

For some reason, that chiken head strip reminds me of the little creature in Eraser Head.

They all look great.

These are done with charcoal no?

I've never even used charcoal. I should.

This is beautiful, and Graham Greene=awesome choice of source text. I like it without text, but if you add it I would have it under the image and do it in French- everything sounds cooler en francais

Wow, it just gets better and better, Nicolas.

Also, I bookmarked your site! It just as well that it's in French because I've been trying to learn it for the last long while.

Nice! Usually indie comics in the US are sized in a matter of inches, but most indie publishers are fine with what ever sized work. You would probably dig this guy that I'm collaborating with's work. His site:

Oh, and France has tons of lovely indie imprints, that tend to spend a lot more on their books, and publish in great formats... You should try to find a European publisher.
