I really like feedback, partly because I often can't pick up on things (For example, I honest to god find it really hard to know if someone's being sarcastic) so, can we do a Chicago Meet-Up Feedback Session?
What did I do right, what did I do wrong? Is there something I could improve on? Were my hugs less than stellar? Did I talk too much (or too little)? How was I as a roommate? Be honest here, I don't want you to resent me for something I didn't know bugged you and/or I was doing wrong. And though I hadn't planned on actually doing this I must address the actual meet-up now. Thank you all so much for being so accepting and awesome to me last weekend! Becca, I'm sorry about hotel issues and I can't thank you enough for dealing with all of that for us. You are so cute and friendly and I really, really enjoyed our short pool hang out. I have a $500 limit on my credit card but, if it's possible, I'd be more than happy to take a room on it to lessen the impact on you/whomever does hotel stuff next year. Rob, thanks for being such a great roommate. I'm sorry about the bed situation. Thanks for being my last Chicago goodbye. :) Leon, thanks for allowing me to accompany you to get your tattoo. I know I've told you this but, just for everyone else, if I'd gone with my sister she would have belittled me and I'd have been too intimidated by her judging to have asked so many questions. Learning is fun! Thanks as well for waiting for me at the airport, it was greatly appreciated. Pascal, it was super great to meet you! Thanks for letting me use your camera, I hope the photos don't turn out too badly. Thanks for the conversations and don't worry, you're on vacation, I don't think you're an alcoholic. Though, you're a braver traveler than I am. Sam, dude, TimTam straws. Do you remember? Because that was honest to god the best conversation I had that weekend. I'm sorry I was laughing so much, I blame it on a lack of sleep and nerves. You are so cool. Danke for telling me about yourself and the best luck with Uni this year. Kelsi, it was wonderful to meet you. I wish our conversation regarding school, foster families and First Nations kids hadn't be such a downer. I hadn't realized much of that was the case and it breaks my heart to find that out. Kevin, I owe you so much. I've been meaning to thank you again for Saturday night but, I don't want to interrupt your studying. You were my night in shining armour and though you made me so uncomfortable it was worth it. Additionally, it was wonderful to talk to you. We should work on our facial movements again one day. *tries to wiggle eyebrows* Jeanette, darling, you are so great in person. Shorter, but greater. Thanks for the hugs and the conversation and I'm so sorry I didn't get a chance to say goodbye (THAT GOES FOR EVERYONE.). Mike, Jeff, Alvin, Randy, Omair, Rolf and Jonah, we didn't speak much but the conversations we had were great. Thanks for including me and I can't wait to see you all again next year! Haya! Darling, your hugs are stellar, top-notch, amazing. Thanks for Friday night hugs, Saturday afternoon chats and Saturday night teasing. I'll see you next summer, yes? Also, rump roast. Just sayin' Ryan, thanks for inviting me to the bean Sunday morning. That picture you took is stellar and glad we got talk, if only a little bit. Adam and Meghan, it was wonderful to finally meet you two. You're both wonderful in person and it was great to hang out with you. (Also, you two being smile twins = win.) I know I'm missing people but I've got to get ready for work but, when I have time, I'll come back to update it.

Flickr Kookaberry on Jan 03 '12 at 12:07am Much like a bell on a cat to warn birds of forthcoming danger, I shall ring a bell for you every time I am about to make a joke, Mya. Jackanapes mk.II on Jan 17 '09 at 10:22pm Very cool. You're like a mini-Margo. Omair is the greatest! iPear on Feb 23 '09 at 8:44pm Mya Jamila you're all complex and weird and crap, so I think you would be like a ground hog. Those things are so fucking weird and complex, and everyone's like "look at that groundhog, that groundhog is so complex and interesting". People would write blogs and childrens books about you, you'd be so popular that there would be a day named after you. This day is called "Saturday", and every "Saturday" everyone would go to your little groundhog pad, and throw carrots and potatos and beans down the hole and you'd eat until you shat turds the size of gumballs (which is pretty huge considering you're no bigger than a King Size Snickers Bar). But yeah, you also have incredible weather predicting skills. iPear on May 06 '09 at 10:17pm Mya Jamila you would probably be in a thought provoking and easy to understand childrens cartoon movie. It would be called The Land Before Time VIII: Ice Age 3: Jurraissic Park Jr. you would play a new character introduced to the series, Daisyloaf. You would be a young velociraptor on the prowl and independant, but thenyou meet Little Foot and the Gang and you understand the power of friendship and you forge a bond after realizing you need each other to survive or something. Also, raptors have hands, and all of those animals are pretty retarded in that they do not have hands, so you're pretty much the best dinosaur. Thanks Haya!
