What are the advantages I can get if I submit a design as critique first?

Is it better if i submit my designs for critisization first or should I proceed to the contest right away? Is there any advantages?

for starters, you'll save 15% or more on your car insurance. as the critique goes on, you have the opportunity to earn "threadpoints," which can be redeemed for fantastic prizes such as a new vacuum cleaner and a puppy.

you just might get the advise you need to make you design that little better/a lot better, then it was before.

Or you will be told the design needs bigger arrows.
