Mine aren't that great but here they are:

"Paul Blart: Mall cop" (Thought is was an amusing family movie, but not really something I would call hilarious)

"The Soloist" (Great performances from Robert Downey Jr. and Jamie Fox. Somewhat inspiring, very thought provoking but a little hard to watch b/c of the reality of it.)

"Indian Summer" (It had a great cast and lots of potential, but the story was pretty empty and the interactions between the characters was less believable because of it.)

"Taken" (Holy fuck. I hope someone I know gets kidnapped so I can go on a rampage too. Holy fuck.)

"The Safety of Objects" (A kid talked to a doll. It amused me.)

"District 9" (There were aliens. It was neat.)

I have to agree with your thoughts on "Taken" (holy fuck)

Trans Siberian - Entertaining, thrilling, but riddled with horrible characters and gaping plot holes

My Bloody Valentine 3D - By the numbers slasher horror. Garbage.

Transformers 2 - AWFUL

Batman: Mask of the Phantasm - AWESOME

Ponyo - Gorgeous and cute story, but not Miyazaki's best by any means.

I think Phantasm would be a great villain for the next installment in the movie franchise. But she's really just an animated universe creation, without any of the crossover success of Harley Quinn so I doubt it. They'll probably go with some Penguin/Riddler/Catwoman crap.

The Warriors - A gang movie apparently made by someone completely unfamiliar with gangs.

In Bruges - Funny, sad, beautifully shot, and a fantastic setting. Really good.

Persepolis - Enlightening.

Waltz with Bashir - I cried at the end. The first movie to do that to me since Elephant Man.

"In Bruges" looks like a good one to see.

I highly recommend it. Also, the DVD has a special feature that's the entire movie edited down to just the swear words. You haven't lived till you've seen Brendan Gleeson say "fucking" 80 times in 60 seconds.

I know, everybody loves it. I think I just wasn't in the right mood to see it. I'll probably have to give it another chance sometime.

Hangover: I pissed myself.

Ugly Truth: Predictable and saccharine, but I love chick flicks all the same. Katherine Heigl is also gorgeous.

Two new movies I recently watched this weekend

"Enemy at the gate": One of my favorite war movies period

"H2": I never cared for the Halloweens in the past that much, but this one for what it was ROCKED. I'll give it 4 out of 5 stars for horror movies. Thank you Rob Zombie

Cheaper By the Dozen (I have two kids, 5 and 6.5) - watching it stressed me out beyond words. Much of the havoc was a little close to home. :)

Defiance - this pretty much rocked.

Paper Heart (Lovely, charming, probably not for everyone but definitely the type of movie I'd watch)

Troll 2 (Bad acting, horrible make-up jobs, nonsensical plot, and I loved every minute of it)

Son Of Rambo - Really good movie - sweet and cute, reminded me a lot of Millions meets Be Kind Rewind.

Star Trek - Good fun actions adventure summer movie. Don't have to know a lot about Star Trek (I don't).
