If you had just $10.00 in your pocket and what ever food and gas you have right now. How many hours, days or possibly weeks could you last??

Right now I think I could last maybe 2-3 days that's including me having to drive to work and use what little gas I have left.

2-3 days. I only eat 1 meal a day and I can do that for about $2. Gas would be the deal breaker for me.

1 week? but that's mostly because i have lots of rice and veggies and frozen chicken in the fridge already.

i'm living on 16$ fo-real right now, but i borrowed two bucks from my boyfriend yesterday to buy some noodle-bowls so i guess i fail.

Probably about 10 days before I'd have to spend the money on gas for my car.

Well, I just went to the grocery store the other day, and that usually lasts me about a week, so I figure by eating less and using that $10 to buy really cheap food, I could probably triple that.

And I don't really drive that much and the bus is free, so yeah. Probably three weeks.

theoretically though, if it was 10 dollar, no way out of it, i could probably make it last forever by dumpster diving behind bakeries and such.

Yeah, the entire city transit system is covered by student fees from the university. It's pretty sweet.

Got a full pantry and half a tank. If I ran out of gas, I'd could ride my bike and borrow rides for awhile. Hmmm. I'd say a month tops.

Free bus = awesome

I'm impressed how long you people could last. Just my drive to work during a week ends up costing me about $20.00 and I have a car with good mpg's

If I still had to go to work, maybe a day. I deliver pizza, so using gas would add up pretty quick, and right now I only have about a gallon left. I could easily use $10 in gas a day, but I get paid at the end of the night, so really that's as long as I'd need it to last. Plus, free pizza.

it's pretty easy to stretch ten dollars when you have a bike.

I'm often jealous of city pizza delivery guys who can deliver on a bike.

Except when it rains.
