I would redesign it, take away the forest theme and add a couple of wings and some wheels at the bottom, make the shoe into a car/airplane kind of thing as in:

If I had shoes I could go so many places kind of thing.

Maybe even turn the upper part of the shoe into a city or building of some kind.

boo.. about the asics ad. but still man, i think you've got something awesome here and really dig your idea. Maybe turn it into a city or something or like the shoe house? loving your style and illo tho. All the best. I like where its going
