i decided to take a break from taking a break from here and actually sub something, the whole seeing the score thing intrigued me into it. i figured i'd slap it on a thermos too and was pleasantly surprised with how it looked. so if you wanna take a peek...



anyway, how are you all doing? i won't ask whats been going on cos its not like i haven't been lurking ;)

so this is my first time participating in the secret santa, and i have to say i've really enjoyed it. it came yesterday and i had just about enough self-restraint to leave opening it till the evening when the wife got home, so heres some pics of what i got

a best of massive attack cd, i was intrigued when i saw cd was on the customs info. i told my santa i was into electro music and i'm familiar with the group but don't own much, so i'll certainly give it a good listening to

and lastly a hand-painted picture frame and drawing of myself and the missus, i really like this, sure the style's a little weird but hey so am i, so it suits me down to the ground. i really appreciate you doing something so personal

overall pretty damn happy with what i gots, so i just wanted to say....

i think about 6 more would beat my personal best, it seems to be doing better than my other 101010 sub that bombed

we had a small simple day on the 23rd with just family in a glasshouse in the grounds of a victorian abbey, and went away for a small honeymoon in north wales for a few days afterwards. heres a full length pic so you girlys can check out the dress

i don't have any ideas for this movember comp yet, so i was thinking how about an inspiration blog where you post pics of either your own or your favourite moustaches (i know you have them, i remember the whole moustache avatar thing!!!)

we all know that that fine gent Coleblotcky has one of the best tache's on threadless, but i'd like to think mine's not bad either -

an you might remember i was doing this one with a crazy bird but i really don't know how to finish it up, if you've got any suggestions shout them out otherwise i'll prob just scrap it

so i have this sub for the technocraft thing that dosn't seem to be doing very well - but i won't let that deter me, so how about i do not one but 2 types of comp (you don't have to do both if you don't want to). firstly heres the sub


comp 1 - guess the score, usual rules apply, 1 guess per person, closest gets it, please vote/comment on the sub if you don't mind, blah blah blah

comp 2 - in the spirit of the sub, draw your own character. do it however you like, photatoshop, paint, print it out and use markers, whatever, just post a pic of your version, and the winner will be my favourite. (i'm fully aware people might not be bothered to do this - thats why theres a guess the score too)

hey there you lot

so i figured you might like to know what i been up to, last weekend i went on a city break to amsterdam, and whilst there i couldn't pass up the chance to meet up with mosquito88/koen.

after some last minute swapping of emails and phone numbers, me and two of my friends met him at the train station on the saturday. he's a super-cool easy-going guy, he didn't even seem to mind wandering the streets and getting lost with us for what felt like ages looking for a place to get a drink.

we had a good 'ol chat and a beer, then he took us to try some dutch food/snacks. i can't remember exactly what it was called, kroken or kroker or something like that, but it was some sort of meaty goodness. after that we hung out by the canal and chatted a bit more.

koen suggested we try out the restaurant they all went to when they had the dutch threadless meetup a while ago. we walked across the city and ate there, and it was really good, so good that we had to have a sit down in the big park on the way back - where we promptly got bitten by mosquito's (real ones, koen didn't bite anyone)

we stopped for another beer before heading to the station so koen could get his train home. all in all it was really nice to spend almost the whole day with him, this is pretty much a 'thanks for being so cool' blog. hopefully i wasn't too awkward or quiet, unfortunately i didn't get many photos, just some last minute ones like this at a bar

....that and a blurry one that i used for a product pic.
