Hey dudes and dudettes.

We're a community, and community members help each other out. Right? Right! Cool.

I'm up for collaborating with a handful of sloganeers who want to see their words on a tee. (Probably starting with one, and then picking up more if that goes smoothly/as time allows.)

SOME THINGS TO NOTE:

- KNOW WHAT YOU'RE GETTING. Take a look at some of my subs and get a feel for what I produce. Don't throw your name in the hat if you're looking for alexmdc-style characters or super-slick, clean design; you'll be disappointed, and I'll be frustrated.
- Here are some subs with words and lettering.
- I'm probably more interested in puns and wordplay than clever concepts. (e.g., "Fractions speak louder than nerds," not "Pickles are just cucumbers soaked in evil.") I realise that the two can overlap. Clever concepts involving language are fair game.
- I'm especially interested in working with people who have not yet had a successful collab/print (I hear it's hard to get attention), at least for the first one or two.
- Gotta be honest, this is not my top priority right now. (I'm apartment-hunting, which is taking up most of my free time/life.) I don't have the time or energy to do long, back-and-forth collab work. But, I like drawing letters. What I come up with will probably be simpler and mostly text-based.

So! Uh, I'm not sure the best way to do this. Post here, maybe, with a link to your slogan blog (and your email). Or if you have a specific one in mind that you think would work well, keeping in mind all of the above, shoot me an email at mismonaut(at)gmail. That would probably work best. If it seems like a good fit, I'll let you know and we can get started.

Somebody tell me this makes them laugh?

The last few times I've looked at my most recent sub, the score has actually climbed. Watching my scores is usually a cringe-inducing descent into mediocrity, so this is pretty cool for me.

It was hovering just over three the first time I saw it (and I expected it to plunge at any moment), but it's slowly crept up to 3.25.

And I don't really expect it to stay there, but it still makes me happy.

So I've been subbing a ton of stuff lately, and I've been keeping it all over here in this post, but this one is hovering right at 2.99 with one day left. And it would totally make my day if I actually broke a three.

No pressure or begging—do what your heart tells you! But I'd be super mopey if one promo blog could have tipped the scales and I didn't post one. So for my own peace of mind, here it is.
