Anyone else watch Heroes ?

I am really excited about this new tv show.
I watched the first episode last night and it looks great.
Anyone else with me?

It pretty cool, there is an encore presentation tonight.

It reminds me of the muties comic series from a little while ago, only its much better.

But same Idea normal people getting superpowers and how they deal with it.

it was better than i thought. good introductions of characters. kinda x-men meets unbreakable. as long as no costumes come into play, though i wouldn't put it past the japanese guy.

i guess the indian dude is going to be like the professor x?

i'll keep watching for now.

lots of premises seem a little ripped from some old image comic i can't remember though....and were those alan moore paintings?

i can only guess the mirror power in some sort of unleashing of an evil or powerful twin to do your desire. or else the mirroe shit was all in her mind and she just blacks out and goes beserker. it seems too supernatural, it's the one i don't get.

The mirror thing freaked me out... I like the japanese guy. I love how he kept quoting Star Trek and X-Men. But that's just my geeky side talking...

My boyfriend loved the star trek and xmen quotes too...I thought it was pretty good...we picked out the evil guy early on ;) and knew that it was the cheerleaders dad

it was really interesting, but I wish they'd taken more time to set it up. Milo's character believed he could fly wayyyyyy too easily.

yeah, I do think tey might have tried to put a little more into an hour than they should have.

A two hour premire would have been better.

i was thinking of dl'ing the first couple of episodes in a while.

i prefer to see 2-4 episodes the first time i watch a tv show to see if it's sustainable...a lot of shows have good pilots and then get crappy

They actually cut some scenes from this premier. I had downloaded the original pilot from bit torrent the other week to see what it was like. They totally ditched the subplot where the stripper's little boy steals money and runs away.
