Threadless

This is SUCH a fabulous design that I am majorly bummed that Threadless removed the vivid blue on the monster hand and likewise made the cookie & bed accents (perfectly drawn with a moon shining in) dim... They did a bit of injustice to the $6! shirt design that I wanted SO much. Surely most don't want it SO blended in that the monster hand just looks like a pale rag draped on the door.

Obviously, the artist is not at all the object of criticism here. Yeah, it is cheaper to use less colors... But corners shouldn't be cut for such deservingly high scores that they should *know* will sell like hotcakes (even if the Sesame St/Henson references are flooding the site, a Hensonite like me can't help but $5 the great ones).

Thanks for the warning - I'm not going to buy this now unless they redo it properly.

I'm pretty sure that it's just that the tees looks a little desaturated in the product pics. That richer blue is still printed on the Cookie Monster, methinks. Check the image on the product page - that is what they have printed on the tee.

Hi I designed this Tee and I've been told that they did the best they could with the 1st print and when it gets reprinted (hopefully) they will address the more vibrant arm issue again which to me doesn't bug me too much.

I haven't submitted any photos. I guess I don't want free money.

All about me

First thing to note: If I sub'd a slogan (I did, actually), part of which originated elsewhere, please note that I GOT PERMISSION from the source. I do not "get in trouble for something I didn't do" :)

I have used Threadless since... um... college. A long time ago... in their really early days. I have since moved a few times, changed emails totally, and forgotten what my old login name on here was, so here I start again... ah, been a long time, but I'm glad this site is still thriving :)
