Here's a fair place for me to say a couple things regarding this print... first off, the color isn't quite what the picture implies... there's far more green to this, which in my case is fine... I actually purchased it because the room it will go in has unfortunate gray carpeting that won't be removed anytime soon and also has similarly shaped cream and purple flowers on otherwise neutral bedding... point is if you're expecting silver, it's more like... a sagestone hue muted down a bit. What looks cadet and denim blue on my screen ... has quite a lot of greenish color splashed in. The parasol is truely a deep sage, as are the pale looking flowers to the visual left of her waist. The pinkish purple is a somewhat neon lavender tone--if you know the "red violet" crayola color, imagine filling in with that shade without pressing down too hard... that color has a bit of sheen to it. The rest is fairly matte.
The other thing... I wasn't certain about materials... it's essentially thin card stock that can easily be rolled up (and is shipped as such in a tube). You'll need to somehow mount or frame it if not both. Otherwise, the slightest bit of moisture will bend it.

I haven't submitted any photos. I guess I don't want free money.
First thing to note: If I sub'd a slogan (I did, actually) that originated elsewhere, please note that I GOT PERMISSION TO SUBMIT IT FROM THE VERY BUSY AWESOME PERSON WHO MADE IT POPULAR IN THE NERDFIGHTING CIRCLE OF LUV. That's all--if you don't know who John Green is, you're seriously missing out. :)
I have used Threadless since... um... college. A long time ago... in their really early days. I have since moved a few times, changed emails totally, and forgotten what my old login name on here was, so here I start again... ah, been a long time, but I'm glad this site is still thriving :) |
